Products Boards and blocks

PIR M

Rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam boards free of CFC and HCFC gas types, cut from a block with a reaction to fire classed as M-1.

The rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam is a variant of the polyurethane (PUR) foam; although it is practically identical in appearance, mechanical and thermal properties, it has a greater resistance to fire and temperature.

In fires, the PIR foam reacts creating a superficial carbonised layer protecting and impeding the penetration of fire toward inner layers.

Technical characteristics

  • Rigid polyisocyanurate foam boards cut and machined from a block. Lightweight boards with a high rigidity, easily machined and cut.
