PIR ALU T

A rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam panel coated on both sides with lacquered embossed aluminium. The aluminium cover provides the sheet with a vapour barrier and an excellent dimensional stability. The material's main characteristics are: a high thermal resistance which enables the use of thinner insulating panels, and rigidity and lightness which facilitate handling and installation.

The high insulating properties of the PIR ALU-T panel ensure a high thermal comfort once installed. The PIR ALU-T panel also has remarkable mechanical properties, an excellent dimensional stability and above all outstanding fire behaviour.

Technical characteristics

  • A rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam panel coated on both sides with embossed aluminium. Given the thickness of the aluminium sheet (50 µm), this product can be considered as a vapour barrier.
  • There is practically no water absorption on account of the closed polymer cell structure and the aluminium coating.
  • Excellent thermal conductivity coefficient.

Applications
